There is now a mandatory requirement for cross-border shipments to have complete and accurate data including product descriptions, HS6 codes and import and export codes.
This follows major regulatory changes including Brexit, the abolition of the VAT exemption on low-value items, introduction of the EU’s Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) and the US STOP Act.
The regulations are starting to bite with thousands of shipments now being held or delayed at customs around the world.
